The beginning
It all started in 2013 when we decided to conduct one camp for players with disabilities and introduce them to wheelchair basketball in partnership with Choice International, UK by their coach Jaspal Dhani. The first camp was only for local players but it received a good response and even Tamil Nadu Government sports department helped us a lot in this activity. With a boosted morale, we decided to continue the work in a professional way and formed an executive committee and registered the Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India (WBFI) in 2014.
