As we have our school report card mentioning marks obtained in various subjects, fitness assessment report is similar. The assessment is done as per the level of activity, like the different levels of academics and have various subjects in fitness and exercises program. Anthropometry, posture, flexibility, endurance, strength, power, etc. are few parameters that can be tested. It is important to understand your levels on different components before you start any physical activity. Baseline analysis is the key to design or plan the exercise or fitness program from a novice to the highest level of participation. Medical evaluation should not be ignored as in most cases the athlete is not aware of the routine blood test values, or other related factors. As basic as your hemoglobin levels are not tested routinely by athletes playing competitive sports. To read more similar articles …….
