What motivated you to start an academy in Pune?

When I was a player, I had to leave my hometown and shift to other cities for training at the age of 16. So, from that point in time, I wanted to start something, so that players from Pune and Maharashtra would be able to get quality professional training in Pune. So, when my career as a player was over, I visited with an idea to Shiv Chhatrapati sports complex officials and Sabnis sir, who was in charge by then. They gave a green signal to start an academy. The instant agreement was a pleasant surprise.
