India’s first Grandmaster Couple has built a nursery for India’s upcoming chess talents. Founded in 2008 by
RB Ramesh and his wife Aartie Ramaswamy, Chess Gurukul has emerged as the chess hub of India with more
than 35 World Championship medals in different segments. Aartie speaks about the academy and their journey in an
interview with Akshay Badwe.
