We wanted our daughters Eesha and Richa to do something in sports but we didn’t force them.
Instead, we introduced them to various sports. Eesha got fascinated with chess and we let her pursue what
she liked the most,” says Dr Karavade.

Little did they know that a casual admission to one of the chess academies in the city would later turn out to be a
turning point and their daughter will bring laurels to the country.
