When swimmers do yoga and meditation regularly it helps to boost their performance in the pool and decrease their risk of injury. It has many more benefits beyond physical health. Yoga brings many unseen benefits such as improving flexibility, awareness, overall strength, understanding your body and mind, learning to coordinate your breathing with your body movements. These all qualities are so important as a swimmer.
