Basketball is a team sport that requires strength, power, endurance, speed, agility, and coordination. Nutritional planning depends upon age, gender, weight, and nature of sport & phase of training. During a basketball game, about 75 per cent of the athlete’s energy comes from the ATP-PC system, followed by about 15 per cent from the Lactic Acid system, and approximately 10 per cent from the Aerobic System.
