Speed Training, Fitness for Swimming

Speed plays an important role in sports as well as everyday life. For most us, the word speed conjures up images of spectacular sprints by elite athletes which seem superhuman and unachievable feats to us mere mortals. However, everyday life can also throw up situations which demand speed. For example, running fast to catch a bus or a falling object. An amateur or recreational runner would also be interested in speed to improve his/her race timing.
