World Netball (WN) aims for Olympic inclusion in Brisbane 2032, guided by CEO Fiona Harold’s strategies to expand its global impact. With 75 members, WN has grown beyond its Commonwealth roots, boasting 21 million players globally (as of 2018) and success in commercial ventures like the Netball World Cup 2023 (NWC2023). Hosted in Africa for the first time, NWC2023 doubled the viewership of its 2019 edition, showcased elite athletes, and inspired legacy programmes in regions like Ghana and Botswana. Enhanced social media engagement and the OTT platform NetballPass further amplify its reach, underscoring netball’s readiness for the Olympic stage.
