How to achieve sports specific fitness?
Sports specific training is aimed at helping to achieve the goal of excelling at a particular sport, it has to build up all the skills that are required to improve performance in that sport.
If a person wants to build up muscle, resistance training or weight training will be essential, to increase endurance some form of aerobic activity will be needed – similarly to play a sport the question one needs to ask is- What components of fitness and specific skills do I need to develop to keep getting better at this?
