Bring Body & Mind into Harmony
Each of the species on earth plays some kind of sport, they are playful in their own way. Human beings are no less. They have some special attraction towards this one activity, which is playing, irrespective of age group, culture, religion and country we come from. Playing a sport is an activity which has no boundaries of age, physical abilities and the best part about it is we experience altogether a different
joy and happiness. We cannot deny that sport has played a vital role in human development. We learn major disciplines like a team playing, understanding that every role is of utmost importance and cannot be underestimated. These values generated have been with us in every walks of life.
How would Yoga help in Sport?
Let me share this one incident from Mahabharata. We all know Arjuna’s answer “I can only see the eye of the bird.”, when guru Dronacharya once decided to take a bird-eye test to analyse the ability of focus. While his siblings had a wide array of options and hence they were sure to have a very less probability of achieving theirs in achieving their goals, Arjuna’s reply reflects his ability to streamline his entire focus on his goal.
