Pune lad Shubham Kajale is India’s youngest-ever Ultraman and the youngest participant in the world to complete Ultraman Australia. In an interview with Bhushan Barve, the 20-year-old speaks about his preparations and thrilling experiences during the event.

There are only ten Indians who have conquered the Ultraman challenge so far and among them is Pune’s Shubham Kajale, who registered his name in record books by becoming the youngest finisher in Ultraman Australia in 2018. Shubham comes from an academic family, as his father Sanjay is a businessman while mother (Jyoti) takes Vedic maths classes. But, Shubham was more inclined towards sports and took swimming and horse-riding classes from his early childhood.
