THE POWER OF HOPE

 

After a long day at college, I went home in the evening and switched on a news channel on my TV set. The channel was showing the top headlines of the day. It started out with excerpts of a press conference attended by Virat Kohli on the eve of the India-New Zealand ODI match. He said that he was hoping for the Indian batsmen to perform well and put a good score on the board.
